Academic Professional Track Positions

The Department of Mathematics anticipates openings for academic proferssional track faculty positions (Lecturer, Instructional Assistant Professor) beginning Fall 2017.

The minimal requirement is a Master’s degree in Mathematics. We look for candidates with very strong teaching credentials. These positions come with a teaching load of four courses per semester for Lecturers. For Instructional Assistant Professors, there may be the possibility of substituting another duty (course coordination, etc) for one course.

Applicants should send the completed "AMS Application Cover Sheet", a vita, and a statement on teaching, and arrange to have letters of recommendation commenting on their teaching sent to: Mathjobs http://www.mathjobs.org. There is no deadline, as positions may become available only later in the spring. On the other hand, we will begin screening applications in December should positions become available early.
